Unless otherwise stated, the following definitions apply to this policy:

  • "we", "us", and "our" are references to B2B Internet Services Ltd;
  • "you", "your" and "customer" are references to the entity paying for services from B2B Internet Services Ltd;
  • "services" are web hosting, domain registration, support, email and other services or facility provided by us to you;
  • "server" is the computer equipment operated by us in connection to the services provided

  1. Introduction
    Our Acceptable Use Policy defines the rules for using the services provided by B2B Internet Services Ltd. It contains detailed information about what type of behavior is and is not allowed.
    This policy is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Customers will be notified immediately of any change to this policy, the modified policy will be communicated through the WWW.
    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this policy.
  2. System Security
    The customer is solely responsible for the security of their account. Any attempt to use your account to gain access to any other customers account will result in immediate account suspension.
  3. Password Protection
    The customer will make ever effort to keep their account secure. If we feel that the password is not adequately secure, we will inform the customer to change their password.
  4. Internet Etiquette
    The customer should not post, transmit, or permit Internet access to information the customer desires to keep confidential. The customer is not permitted to post any material that is illegal, libelous, tortuous, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory statements, hate speech or propaganda, indecently depicts children or is likely to result in retaliation against us by offended users. This includes content, deemed by us, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to us.
  5. Network Responsibility
    The customer is prohibited from using our services for network scanning, port scanning, ping flooding or any other behaviour that severely impacts the performance of the network our servers are connected to.
  6. Copyright Infringement or any other third party rights
    Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material that is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights, without the permission of the owner, is prohibited.
  7. Lawful Purpose
    All services we provide for our customers may only be used for lawful purposes. Our servers are located in the UK, and as such are governed by UK law. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material that is in breach of the law is prohibited
  8. Unsolicited Email - SPAM
    Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) and Unsolicited Bulk/Mass Email (UBE/UME), hereby referred to as SPAM.
    The use of our services to send SPAM is prohibited. The use of our services that are referenced by SPAM, either sent by our customers or any other third party is prohibited.
    Mailing lists may be operated on a opt-in subscription basis only. Only mailing list software that is provided by us, is allowed on our servers. Any complaints received regarding SPAM will be taken seriously and will be investigated. See 'Guidelines for Permission-Based Email'.
    Customers deemed by us to have been involved in SPAM, will immediately have their accounts suspended.
  9. Guidelines for Permission-Based Email
    Permission based email, is when the recipient has given their explicit consent that they may be sent email. This is normally achieved through an option in an online form, where the recipient must actively select to receive communications.
    All commercial or bulk email originating from our customers must contain a working un-subscribe link. The customer must process and honour all un-subscribe requests within 72 hours. The time taken to process un-subscribe request, must be stated in the email.
    Specifically, all commercial email must additionally conform to the requirements for 'Commercial Communications' as stated in The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002 No.2013)
  10. Pornography and Obscene Material
    Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material that is pornographic, or of a sexual, lewd, or obscene nature is prohibited. Or any information, data or material determined by us to be of this nature. Specifically, we do not provide hosting for any web sites of an Adult nature.
  11. Illegal Activities and Viruses
    Promotion of illegal activities (hacking, cracking, etc), information or software containing or about any kind of virus is strictly prohibited.
  12. Disclaimer
    We reserves the right to test and monitor that our customer's are using our services in compliance with the rules in this policy.
    If we determines in our sole discretion that the customer is not in strict compliance with the rules, then we may immediately suspend or terminate the customer's service. Customers are responsible for all charges, as well as any fees relating to the investigation, suspension, administration and handling of their account before, during and after the suspension period.

ANY INDIRECT OR ATTEMPTED VIOLATIONS OF THE ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY AND ACTUAL OR ATTEMPTED VIOLATIONS BY A THIRD PARTY ON YOUR BEHALF, SHALL BE CONSIDERED VIOLATIONS OF THIS ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY BY YOU.
